In early 2008 Robin Durant and myself decided to start up a Astronomical Society based around imaging and getting the members to give presentations of their work, this has worked out very well and the Society is progressing nicely.
Sir Patrick Moore offered to be our President and attended our opening at Southwick Community Centre.
